BP1-Google Reader

The feeds I chose to subscribe to are based on my professional growth as well as my personal interests.  The five I chose for professional purposes are...

http://www.schcounselor.com/
This is a great site to learn from and share with other school counselors.  There are quick lesson plans that I can use in a pinch to address the different needs of students.

http://blog.rethinklearningnow.com/
This blog addresses education reform and what we really should be thinking about, more revolution than reform, as Sir Ken Robinson stated in one of his Ted Talks (2006).

http://selahcounseling.blogspot.com/
This blog addresses general counseling topics from a licensed therapist. Sometimes I get lost in the school mind set, and forget my roots as a therapist, so this is an easy reminder of what the basis of my work is and how to work with severe issues.

Anything from theweek.com is worth reading.  Their info comes form all over the world and is unbiased, entertaining, and informative views from progressive minded folks.

Salon.com is like the week, in that the information has a perspective that is edgy yet trustworthy, and can be very shocking and entertaining as well. It helps keep me up to date on the general news, but also addresses news on education, kids, and families.

This is fun! So glad to create this!
